Our older Sony 8 inch DVD player was stolen from the car and we replaced it with this player. You cannot go wrong with the Sony portable DVD player. Sound is good, picture quality is great, easy to move from car to car... too easy if you forget to bring it in the house at the end of the day, battery life is good but we use it plugged into the cig lighter most of the time.
